‘MUGA’ stands for ‘Multi Use Games Area’ and we have installed this wonderful facility on our school grounds.  The children from Class 3 were the first onto the MUGA in early June 2015 and, three years later, we still enjoy using the area and will do for many years to come.

We believe strongly in the value of Physical Education and healthy lifestyles here at Curbar. We participate in many local events and competitions throughout the school year and have close links to other primary schools and our main secondary school, Lady Manners. We employ ‘Extra-time’ to deliver high-quality sports coaching to all of our children on a weekly basis and our teachers also enjoy teaching P.E to their classes. We also use the MUGA for two weekly after school clubs.
	Although we have had the MUGA for over two years it still feels very exciting and we are delighted with the facility. Many thanks to everyone who has been involved with this wonderful community project.
The MUGA was officially opened on July 12th 2015. We enjoyed a wonderful opening ceremony with fun, games and a hog-roast!
