Absence

Attendance is excellent and there has been no unauthorised absence at Curbar School.
If your child is ill and unable to attend school, please telephone the office on the first day of absence. Children are only allowed to withdraw from any school activity by prior arrangement with their parents.

Charging policy

In line with Government policy, we ask for voluntary contributions towards the cost of educational visits within school hours. Charges are made for extra curricular activities where necessary.

Toys and Valuables

The school strongly recommends that expensive toys and electronic equipment should not be brought into school as we are unable to accept responsibility for any loss or damaged incurred.

Please be aware that because of health and safety considerations, during games and PE children may be required to remove wrist watches and jewellery. The school cannot accept responsibility for such item
