Teaching staff work closely with the board of Governors and the present Chair of Governors is Paul Bott, a parent governor who has two children at Curbar Primary School.

Should you at any time wish to speak to our school governors, a facility to contact Helen Slater (Vice-Chair) directly via this website will soon be in place. Until then please contact the Head Teacher who will arrange for one of them to contact you. The governing body and head teacher work together as a partnership to achieve the aims and objectives of the school. The governing body has clearly set out legal obligations and functions. All of the minutes of governor meetings are public record and are available should you wish to read them.
Many of the governors themselves have children at Curbar Primary School and all of them are keen and happy to answer any questions you may have.
